It’s more a relaxation session to revitalise yourself than an absurd alternative to dancing drunk past midnight on a weekend. New wellness initiative First Light combines the concept of morning dance and wellness sessions to help revitalise tired souls for the week ahead.
The event, powered by Guavapass, includes two sessions from 8 am to 10:30 am this Sunday, October 16 at The Annex in Nan Fung Tower, Central.
The morning dance-in-the-dark session will be followed by a gong sound healing session by Red Doors Studio, where participants will lie down on yoga mats, listen to the sound of gongs and feel the vibrations flow through the body. Gong healing is a unique experience that is said to be peace-inducing and transformative.
Held this Sunday, the group’s first wellness movement is free of charge, with tickets available on Eventbrite. But spaces are limited. As they say, the early bird catches the worm, so act fast.
