?What rules dictate that rings should only span the width of one finger? Not content to stay within the confines of tradition, Van Cleef and Arpels first introduced the between-the-finger ring as early as 1970s, and even had the term trademarked.
Over the years these rings have been embellished by dancing butterflies, free-spirited birds and blossoming florals, and this month, a new between-the-finger ring is revealed in their Two Butterfly collection.
Decorated with mother-of-pearl, rose gold and diamonds, the ring is a work of true craftsmanship. The ring spans the width of two fingers, but with its intricate open design, the butterflies sit delicately, and comfortably above the wearer’s knuckles.
