To help you to celebrate the last weekend of June, here are five events to make it a good one:
8 Shade’s Yoga & Shangri-La’s breakfast
Have you signed for the 8Shades’ 8-week challenge yet? In addition to weekly challenges to help you live a greener, more sustainable life, Emily Lam Ho is also hosting two sessions of their 8Shades Breakfast Club this weekend at The Kerry Hotel. Each session includes a 50-minute yoga session and an inspirational talk by Emily while you dig into a healthy breakfast. Reserve your spots here.
Taking at The Pulse this weekend, Be. Well. Festival is the city’s first holistic wellness festival that combines wellness workshops with a vibrant marketplace. Did we mention it’s dog-friendly?
Starting this Saturday, Aya Takano’s showcase at K11 ATELIER will make Hong Kong more vibrant than ever with 10 paintings and 24 drawings that capture the vista, culture, and quirks of Hong Kong, as well as the years of hardship we face. With her canvas and pencils, the Tokyo-born artist clearly brings together the Japanese artistic tradition of capturing the mundane moment and her affection for Hong Kong’s aesthetics to her artwork. Indulge in the Superflat world where the dreamy, big-eyed creatures represent the beginning, liminal, and ego.
Haven’t you heard? Terrariums are all the rage, and bonart is hosting several exclusive workshops at Tai Kwun where you can flex your green thumb at creating a mini eco-system and little green world to take home. Beginners of all ages are welcome – make a reservation here.
