Auspicious and adorable, Qeelin’s Xi Xi captures the very essence of the dance it draws inspiration from
Celebrating the festive lion dance we are all familiar with, Qeelin has released a new collection of ear studs, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, and cufflinks featuring its adorable lion motif. Each piece in the collection is available in white or rose gold. The designs are emblazoned with pavé diamonds, rubies and with deep onyx eyes, with some pieces being enhanced by carefully-placed vibrant jadeite, each lion-headed piece makes a clear statement.
Living up to its name which means ‘to play’ or ‘have fun’, the Xi Xi collection’s designs are as playful as they are beautiful. The swinging head and free-rotating representation of the lion dance’s silk ball are featured elements of the lucky 88-piece limited edition Xi Xi necklace. An intense contrast to the rest of the collection and its own rose gold construction, the black diamonds of the large Xi Xi pendant with black diamonds and onyx captures the commanding spirit of the lion.
The attention to detail is taken to the luxurious extreme; the happily dancing lion is interpreted with accents of moving chandelier components, some shaped like ancient copper coins. The Xi Xi is an exhilaratingly joyous emblem of Qeelin.
