Food these days isn’t just about what’s on your plate, it’s about your surroundings too, and at Popsy Modern Kitchen, art and food are of equal importance in the dining experience. Fully embracing the forthcoming Le French May festival, the gallery and restaurant in Sheung Wan will serve a five-course gourmet menu inspired by famed French artist Nicolas Vial. A thought-provoking exhibition, Stop…, highlights societal issues and humanity’s self-destructive tendencies with quirky, witty cartoons and political caricatures. Highlights of the meal include an escargot and mashed potato baked puff pastry and pan-fried sea bream with tomato broccoli and spätzle.
The exhibition and 5-course tasting menu runs from April 24 to August 14, 2016.
