Belgian maison Dries Van Noten has brought the rebellious spirit it is known for to the beauty world. The fabulously fearless beauty collection, which launched exclusively at Joyce, is an impressive one, with ten eaux de parfums ranging from floral and fruity to musky and woody, and 31 shades of lipstick (15 satin shades, 10 matte shades, five sheers and one transparent balm), all housed in stunning ethical packaging that play with pattern and double as collectables. A range of equally beautiful personal care products and accessories complete the range.

Lucia Pica tapped into the landscape of the imagination for her latest holiday collection for Byredo. A curated collection made up of five eyeshadow shades, a bold ruby lipstick, chubby khaki-coloured eyeliner, steely mascara and the brand’s classic clear liquid vinyl lipstick with a vinyl effect offers vast opportunities in terms of creating a variety of makeup looks, with the interplay of soft mattes and glistening textures gifting the fluidity of being whoever you want.

The celebrity-favourite and award winning skincare brand, Joanna Vargas, has come to The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, bringing four signature spa treatments by its eponymous founder. The Triple Crown facial with leave your face refined, lifted and radiant, courtesy of a proprietary machine developed by Joanna Vargas together with a biochemical engineer that combines microdermabrasion and microcurrent technology, whilst the Forever facial deploys radiofrequency and controlled heat to strengthen, tone and sculpt the skin. There’s also the Supernova facial for frequent travellers and those experiencing dehydrated skin or a tired complexion, which imparts a luminous, Hollywood-worthy glow. And last but not least, the Power Peel series. Designed as a three-week course, the three 60-minute treatments combine a fruit acid peel, a hydrating mask, and brightening LED therapy, to recharge and resurface the complexion.

Celine

The ritual art of bathing has been captured by Celine’s creative director Hedi Slimane in a new collection of haute perfumerie titled Cologne Céleste. Inspired by memories from Slimane’s Parisian childhood, the collection consists of the fragrance Cologne Céleste, featuring notes of orange blossom, angelica, sweet lemon essence, petitgrain, neroli, ambrette, and orris butter; L’Huile Céleste, an oil for body and hair; Le Lait Céleste Pour Le Bain, a softening bath milk; and Le Savon Solide Parfumé, a solid soap for both bathing and grooming composed of sweet almond oil and vegetal glycerin. And just as you’d expect from Celine, the packaging is a streamlined work of art, with weighty, double-walled glass bottles and black metal lids laser engraved with the Triomphe logo.

The new limited-edition trio of Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipsticks (the warm rosewood 208 “They Met In Argentina”; rusted red 505 “Janet Rust”; and vivid cranberry 509 “Janie Scarlet”) offers a perfect touch of magic fit for the festivities. With a creamy matte texture and soft velvety finish, this lipstick is formulated to deliver vibrant colour in one swipe.

The luminous Cushion De Beauté also gets a festive makeover featuring bold red. Formulated with SPF, anti-pollution and anti-blue light properties, the Lightweight and moisturising foundation blends seamlessly into the skin for a buildable coverage.

For lovers of all things sparkly, CurrentBody’s latest release will most certainly light sparks. For Christmas, CurrentBody has launched a limited-edition silver version of their international best-selling LED Light Therapy Mask. Just like the original product, the silver mask is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles by 35 percent in just four weeks thanks to its dual-wave technology. Red light penetrates deep into the skin to reduce inflammation and boost collagen production by increasing blood circulation, whilst infrared light stimulates the wound healing cells in the skin to produce new, fresh, and glowing skin.
