Crazy for colour: 7 rainbow accessories perfect for Pride Month

Jun 03, 2020

We’ve seen the return of tie-dye in a big way, so it comes as no surprise that full-spectrum, rainbow accessories are big this summer too. No colour too bright—we’re adopting “the more, the merrier” approach when it comes to the Pantone palette.

Brighten up your look with some of our top rainbow-coloured picks below:

Caroline Bucci forte beads rainbow bracelet

Remember those beaded bracelets you used to make as a kid? Florentine fine jeweller, Caroline Bucci, takes this concept and gives it a luxury upgrade it with precious hard-stone beads. Each one of her DIY Forte bead kits comes with a rainbow selection of beads, 18K gold Florentine finish flower beads and a cord of your choice.

Arizona Love sandals

Arizona Love‘s ‘Trekky’ sandals have been a runway hit since the label launched two years ago. Their canvas-wrapped sandals are handmade in Paris using vintage bandanas, so no two pairs are the same. Style them with shorts and a t-shirt or a flowy dress. Either way, we guarantee you’ll be living in them all summer.

IRENEISGOOD hoop earrings

Last year, South Korean model-turned-influencer Irene Kim launched her label, IRENEISGOOD (after her Instagram handle), with collections fuelled by Kim’s belief that the world could use a little more love and encouragement.

Think uplifting slogan sweatshirts, neon blazers with matching mini-skirts, and an array of fashion jewels. These rainbow hoops caught my eye in her Paris showroom last season as a fuss-free way to brighten up any look.

Roxanne Assoulin bracelet set

We’ve seen these bracelets on the arms of everyone from Selena Gomez, Leandra Medine Cohen (The Man Repeller) to Eva Chen, and they’re an instant mood lifter. The American jeweller spent nearly four decades working with powerhouses such as Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta, but her eponymous jewellery line has quickly grown to become a fashion-insider favourite.

Brinker & Eliza necklace

Brinker and Eliza is a US label founded by a mother and daughter duo. Their love of DIY and craft began in the 2000s, which they eventually turned into a business 17 years later. You can find everything from chunky chains to charm bracelets from Brinker & Eliza, but my personal favourite is the Fiesta necklace (the name says it all, doesn’t it?).

Ancient Greek Sandals

I practically live in lace-up sandals all summer long, and Ancient Greek Sandals is a label I go back to season after season for their timeless styles that match just about anything. I’m eyeing their ‘Ermioni’ sandals right now, which are topped off with delicate, colourful bead and pearl anklets.

Roxanne First necklace

If beaded necklaces aren’t your thing, then perhaps Roxanne First’s yellow gold, princess cut rainbow sapphire drop necklace will strike your fancy.
