Montblanc: The new Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810 is a diver's dream
Apr 09, 2024
Steeled in timeless craftsmanship, Montblanc presents the Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810. This luxury watchmaker once again pushes the boundary in creating a piece that serves some of the world’s most devoted professionals in their crafts
The first Montblanc Iced Sea collection was launched in 2022 with its tell-tale frozen dials. Two years later, the numeral “4810” edged in the designation of its latest diving watch refers to the depth to which it can endure.
The Iced Sea Oxygen Deep 4810 is another testament by Montblanc that perfectly fits its longtime brand identity of “connecting the world of the ocean to the mountain”.
As the new Watches & Wonders fair commences today, Montblanc’s latest masterpiece is sure to draw attention with its 43mm titanium case with shield-protected screw-down crown and 3D engraved caseback. The latter is a three-dimensional coloured relief in which its effect depicts the view divers see when going underneath ice. Both the matte and shiny finishes creates a mesmerising contrasts of colour and texture.
This new member of the maison’s “Zero Oxygen” series is fully created for the hardened explorers. Its very own purpose is to not only provide that sophisticated look but at the same time can endure harsh environments. From drastic temperature changes while preventing oxidisation.
As the timepiece needs to be visible in all conditions, Montblanc has incorporated the trademarked white Super-LumiNova into the hands, indexes and a dot at 12 o’clock which all glow in a luminescent shade of blue in low light, in keeping with the glacial theme.
