May 09, 2023

Show your appreciation for mum with these exclusive menus

The Steak House

The Steak House

Lunch isn’t normally served at The Regent’s The Steak House. But to celebrate mom, head chef Amine Errkhis is offering a four-course brunch that begins at the garden fresh salad bar, which features an elaborate selection of organic seasonal greens, condiments, premium cheeses and charcuterie. Next, choose between Canadian lobster bisque soup or free-range scrambled eggs with Oscietra caviar, and then USDA Prime – rib eye, striploin or tenderloin, USDA Colorado lamb rack or Atlantic sustainable salmon fillet for the main. The journey ends on a sweet note with a selection of delectable desserts from the sweet corner.

For those looking to splash out, there is also the four-course set dinner, inclusive of wine pairing, the salad bar, amuse-bouche and a choice of soup. For the main course, take your pick of either USDA super prime tenderloin, rib eye or Chilean sea bass, all prepared on the original charcoal grill and served with a choice of homemade side dishes. A citrus pavlova crafted by executive pastry chef Andy Yuen of yuzu chantilly, lemon peel confit, timut pepper and pamplemousse sorbet is the perfect ending to the feast.

The main can go two ways: local, with either wagyu beef mapo tofu, stir-fried razor clam in garlic black bean sauce, or lotus leaves-steamed grouper rice; or continental, with grilled USDA rib eye, seared Atlantic cod with mussels and clams, and lobster risotto. A strawberry tiramisu or cherry and vanilla mille-feuille wraps things up.
