Who runs the world? The Landmark Mandarin Oriental knows it’s girls who run the world and is paying tribute to this fact with a great lineup of events and activities dedicated to March’s Women’s Month.
International artist Karen Mok, top model Janet Ma, singer Joyce Cheng, Asia’s Best Female Chef 2017 May Chow and Olympic swimmer Stephanie Au are a part of ten vastly-diverse Hong Kong-based female personalities to receive the spotlight as the centre of a charity photographic exhibition featured around the hotel. The photo exhibition was arranged in partnership with Kayla Wong’s fair trade fashion brand Basics for Basics and shot by Sean Lee-Davies and his production house, Authentic Studio.
The photographs, shot at LMO’s newly unveiled Joyce Wang-designed The Apartment Suite, will be available for an online silent auction where each print is accompanied with a unique interactive experienced offered by each woman. From private screenings to a racing lesson, a cooking class or a behind the scenes encounter, these experiences offer an inspiring, relationship-building opportunity that no money can buy.
Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit The Women’s Foundation and the exhibition will be available for public viewing from March 8 – 31, 2017.
