Anson Chan (Ansonbean)

Anson Chan (better known by his stage name, Ansonbean) has established himself in the local music industry since securing third place in ViuTV’s reality talent show King Maker III in 2020. The following year, the singer released four projects and garnered accolades such as “Best Newcomer” at the Metro Madden Awards 2021 and the Hong Kong Golden Melody Male Newcomer Awards (Bronze Award). He expanded his artistic repertoire by taking on the lead role of Jason in the TV series #lovesignal, which debuted in October 2022. His comedic performance was well-received, earning him the title of Best New Actor (TV Series) at the AEG Entertainment Popularity King 2022 awards. In the first half of 2024, Ansonbean’s career continued to thrive with the release of two films: Rob & Roll, featuring Aaron Kwok and Richie Jen, and The Lyricist Wannabe, alongside Chung Suet Ying. His musical journey progressed with the launch of his new single, “Impatient,” in March 2024. Additionally, he performed as an opening act at Kcon Hong Kong 2024, further cementing his status in the music scene. Looking forward, Ansonbean is poised to release his eagerly awaited debut album in August 2024, marking a significant milestone in his career.
