ifc Launches Sketch Town

Partnering with TeamLab Kids from Japan, ifc mall staged an interactive art installation for children. Sketch Town is an ever-evolving town that is built entirely out of pictures drawn by children. The drawings of UFOs, cars, plans and trucks are scanned and turned into 3-D objects that appear on screen. When touched, the objects protect Sketch Town from the roaming monsters, which delighted the children of Jessica C, Ana R and Cara G at the event.
