Hearts On Fire launches Vela, a new diamond jewellery collection that celebrates the many facets of love

Known for producing The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond, international jewellery brand Hearts On Fire is showcasing its design expertise in a modern diamond jewellery collection that captures the beautiful movement when love takes flight. Vela comprises 11 pieces and takes its design cues from the delicate curves and lines of a feather.

The timeless collection evokes both the lightness and motion of love, mostly notably in the diamond solitaire rings that capture the vision of a feather floating through the air. The rings’ unique winged setting has been engineered without a bridge and using minimal metal to allow for a 360-degree view of the stone, filling it with light and maximising the brilliance of the world’s most perfectly cut diamonds.

The Vela collection also features a feather-like pavé cocktail ring that wraps around the finger and cradles the ring to create a distinct style statement. A delicate pendant takes the shape of two interlocking feathers, symbolising the connection between two hearts, while dramatic dangling earrings are designed to shimmer and sparkle as the wearer moves.

Besides the feather motif, the Vela collection showcases the French cut pavé setting, or “fishtail pavé”. Requiring masterful craftsmanship, the exacting technique takes four times longer than regular pavé. Its intricate V-shaped faceting maximises the refraction of light within the diamonds for unparalleled sparkle.

The new Vela collection launches globally this month along with a campaign encouraging people to share their love stories, proposal moments and journey of love by using the hashtag #showyourlove and tagging @heartsonfire.
