Half-day of me-time at the InterContinental Hong Kong's I-Spa

Nov 20, 2019

The Pool Terrace at the InterContinental Hong Kong

The holiday season is just around the corner. Other than checking out #legend’s holiday gift guides, this is probably one of the best deals to treat yourself and your beloved ones this year – at the InterContinental Hong Kong’s feng shui-inspired I-Spa.

This November, the I-Spa just launched an eye-catching promotion. For just HK$998 + 10% service charge, you’ll be able to enjoy a stress-free morning or afternoon with a one-hour spa treatment, a half-day complimentary use of the hotel’s breathtaking Pool Terrace that overlooks Victoria Harbour, and a HK$300 food and beverage credit at the Pool Terrace.

I-Spa offers a wide variety of treatment options

Aromatherapy massage

Before the treatment begins, the therapist offers me a few options of essential oils – I picked the lavender scent, which creates a relaxing and calming atmosphere. Warm oil is then applied to my body for circulation, which helps to soothe muscles. With the Asian-inspired techniques combining acupressure, palm-stroking movements and hot compresses, it releases deep physical and mental tension, resulting in a state of balance and revitalisation. During a one-hour massage, the therapist covers every single part of my body. I must say that the time is limited, but every little step is filled with relief.

Other than the aromatherapy massage, the I-Spa also features a wide variety of treatments such as Full-Day I-Spa Rituals, Regenerate & Revitalise (Full-Day Ritual), Esse Facial Treatments, LPG Endermologie Integral M6 and more. Basically, it has all the options you need for a proper urban escape.

Half-day at the Pool Terrace

After an hour of massage, say hello to #metime. As the weather’s getting colder, the heated outdoor swimming pool is perfect for the season. The three-temperature infinity spa pools are also worth checking out. While you’re chilling on the sun loungers, don’t forget to use your HK$300 food and beverage credit for a refreshing drink or a light snack. Yangzhou fried rice and spaghetti bolognese are among the delectable options. Then, it’s time to relax and get your camera ready for the breathtaking sunset.

Whether it’s the aromatherapy massage or half-day access to the Pool Terrace, it’s worth checking out, especially for the price. The promotion is available until December 29; be sure to book in advance.
