5 ways to celebrate Global Wellness Day 2021 in Hong Kong

Who doesn’t aspire to be healthier and to live well, both physically and spiritually? Global Wellness Day on 12 June is all about achieving that. First celebrated in 2012, the aim of the day is to encourage recognition of the value of life, being free of stress and making peace with ourselves. Yoga and sound therapy at Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong
The Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong is marking Global Wellness Day with a yoga class with Sweaty Betty ambassador Jessica Lee followed by sound therapy with their resident healer, Cheryl Rodriguez. Stay the entire day for a Mala Making session in the afternoon.

Mother Pearl x iLiving at The Upper House
This Global Wellness Day, join Mother Pearl and Hong Kong boutique wellness consultancy, iLiving, for a co-hosted Somatic Singing Bowl Meditation followed by vegan refreshments at The Upper House. The 60-minute meditation session within the Sky Lounge towering 49 floors above the hustle and bustle of the city below, guides you through your anxieties and restores your sense of peace and joy. Classes and wellcation at Asaya

Body Balance at The Oriental Spa
This Global Wellness Day, The Oriental Spa is collaborating with fitness leaders Les Mills to bring a virtual body balance class to Central. The yoga-based class embraces elements of East and West combining yoga with tai chi and pilates. Focusing on improving flexibility and core strength, the workout restores balance to mind, body and soul. Controlled breathing, concentration and the carefully structured series of moves and poses are essential to creating a sense of calm.
The Oriental Spa will also join The Mandarin Oriental Group’s ‘24 Hours of Wellness’, a 24-hour Instagram livestream virtual journey across the globe, by hosting a live fitness training session at 2pm HKT on Instagram.

Wellness staycation at The Langham, Hong Kong
To celebrate Global Wellness Day in Hong Kong, The Langham, Hong Kong has launched a new wellness staycation package featuring two classes with Lululemon ambassadors Chris Tang and Malbert Lee.
The package includes one night’s accommodation, two 60-minute wellness classes, a complimentary Lululemon yoga mat in the room, detox dinner for two, buffet breakfast for two and healthy welcome amenities for two.
