Sunisa Lee is not just the first Hmong-American Olympian, but also the first Asian American woman to win the Olympic all-around title. Lee has overcome great adversities over the years, from family tragedies and medical issues to training injuries and racist attacks. But through it all, Lee has persevered and shown grace and poise, much like in her gymnastic performances.

American track and field star Gabrielle Thomas already has a silver and bronze medal in her collection from the Tokyo Olympics, so going for gold is the natural next step. We love that Thomas balanced training for Paris with volunteer work at a Texas health clinic, putting her neurobiology degree and masters in epidemiology to good use. Her good looks have also landed her in a Skims Team USA campaign.
