In partnership with Home Rituals, the Dream-cation package at Asaya in Rosewood Hong Kong focuses on the serenity of sleep on the one-night getaways. Between 15 September and 31 October, you can be pampered there with organic bedding, super-soft loungewear, aromatherapy and the choice of a dream analysis or singing bowl therapy session. 

A 90-minute full-body scrub and massage, a three-course lunch from Asaya Kitchen, healthy breakfast and access to facilities and wellbeing classes during the stay are included.

Vacheron Constantin Ocean Terminal Boutique (Sept 11- 27)

This is one for the fans of vintage watches. A representative selection of Vacheron Constantin vintage watches covering the entire 20th century is now grouped under the Les Collectionneurs collection and available at the Maison’s Hong Kong boutiques for private viewing. 

If you are interested in picking up a timepiece, know that the models all come with a certificate of authenticity and a two-year guarantee. 

Jaeger-LeCoultre and Golden Scene Cinema Present- The Timeless Stories of Hong Kong Cinema

Where: Golden Scene Cinema

Between September 9 and 12, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be screening a series of Hong Kong films along with curated talks and exhibition at Golden Scene Cinema in Kennedy Town. The cinema will be transformed into 1931 Café as part of the festivities surrounding the 90th anniversary of the watchmaker’s Reverso watch.

Films that will be screening during this period include The Spring River Flows East (1947), A Better Tomorrow (1986), C’est La Vie, Mon Cheri (1993) and Flowers of Shanghai (1998). Admission to these exclusive screenings is free on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be booked online.

When: September 10 – 12

Where: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

Fashion in person takes centre stage at Centrestage 2021, as it returns in physical format after a virtual event last year. The three-day fashion fiesta will have the presence of more than 200 brands, fashion shows, trend talks, and a young fashion designers contest. 

The event has chosen Chapter Infinity as its central theme and will be divided into three zones: allure (focused on craftsmanship), iconic (avant-garde designs) and metro (contemporary and urban expressions). Admission is free with prior registration.

Unscheduled

When: September 3 – 6 

Where: G/F, 1/F, Asia Standard Tower, 59-65 Queen’s Road Central, Central

Organised by Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA), this second edition of Unscheduled will see 15 Hong Kong galleries and HKAGA members converge at the former location of TopShop in Central. You’ll find a variety of artwork to get your dose of culture locally, as heightened quarantine measures keep us in the SAR. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Hands On Hong Kong, a charity helping those hit by the pandemic. 

Extended Figure: The Art and Inspiration of Lalan

When: Now till September 19

Where: Chantal Miller Gallery, Asia Society Hong Kong Center

Asia Society Hong Kong Center celebrates the life and works of the late artist Xie Jing-lan, aka Lalan, to mark the artist’s centennial birthday. The cross-disciplinary artist incorporated painting, music and dance into her works. Admission is free and guided tours are available.
