Debuted at Tommy Hilfiger’s show in Los Angeles on 8 February, the peaceful protest — an act of subtle defiance against the turbulent political situation in the States — has been embraced by the likes of Diane von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Thakoon and many more.

Those in the industry, from designers to street style photographers are supporting with the incorporation of bandanas in their looks and shoots, but you needn’t be on the streets of Paris, nor front row at the Yeezy Season 5 debut to make an impact. Don the simple accessory throughout February ‘as a sign to the world that you believe in the common bonds of humankind — regardless of race, sexuality, gender or religion,” says the websites founder and Editor-in-Chief Imran Amed.
