Tycoon Tann art exhibition
Hong Kong’s latest modern Cantonese restaurant is jumping into the art mania with an art exhibition of its own. Tycoon Tann will be supporting young and emerging local artist Lewis Lau with his solo art exhibition from March 16 – 31. His painted works build upon the elements of photographs that are important to memories or feelings, thus bringing to life his own emotions through his paintings. Stop by for a drink at the Mod Bar or dine at the restaurant on the upper floors.

Happy Hour at hmv Bar & Restaurant
We’ve not met a person who doesn’t like happy hour. And the earlier they start, the better. From Monday to Friday, hmv Bar & Restaraunt will be hosting happy hour starting from 3 pm in the afternoon until 8 pm. Patrons will be able to enjoy 25 per cent off all drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, by the glass or by the bottle.

Coffee Hour
It’s that time of year again, when we switch off our lights and electrical appliances for Earth Hour. This year, The Coffee Academics is doing their part to raise awareness on global warming and climate change by switching off the expresso machine for the hour, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Saturday, March 19. Patrons to their Causeway Bay flagshop and Johnston Road outlet will be able to instead, enjoy a 10 per cent discount on all hand brew coffees, and full-day discounts at its Morrison outlet.

Zuma Absolut Art Bar turned ashram
Zuma will be painting the town in technicolour as they host the Absolut Art Bar from March 21 – 28. Hosting artist James Ostrer’s alter ego, Guru Jimmy, the Absolut Art Bar will be turned into the Absolut Spirituality Ashram, serving four rainbow-coloured cocktails in addition to Zuma’s Japanese fare. Located in Central’s Landmark building and open daily from 12pm, Zuma will be the place to be to unwind after Art Central and Art Basel. As an added treat, guests who present their ticket from these art exhibitions will receiver a complimentary cocktail after their first beverage purchase from 8pm onwards.

Stockton International Guest Series
To celebrate being recognised as one of Asia’s Top 50 Best Bars, Stockton, of the old 1890s London charm, will be showcasing the talents of their visiting guest bartenders for two nights only. On March 22, Erick Castro, famous his San Francisco ventures Rickhouse and Bourbon & Branch, will be taking his spot behind the bar while the next day, March 23, will see Charlie Ainsbury of Sydney speakeasy fame (‘This Must Be The Place’) takeover.
