Chloé has appointed Natacha Ramsay-Levi as its new Creative Director, officially replacing Clare Waight Keller, who recently debuted her last collection at Paris Fashion Week.
Ramsay-Levi was previously the Creative Director of women’s ready-to-wear at Louis Vuitton, where she worked with longtime mentor Nicolas Ghesquière. In an interview with the New York Times, Chloé Chief Executive, Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, said that he is not, “signing the Vuitton aesthetic or creative direction […] I am signing a great talent. Natacha was trained in the couture ateliers, and she perfectly embodies the spirit of Chloé. She is daring, charismatic, joyful, confident, and knows where she’s going.”
With her futuristic, edgy vision the fashion-world is excited to see what she can bring to the brand. Ramsay-Levi’s first collection is expected to debut at September’s Paris Fashion Week.
