Jun 04, 2024

Gucci announced Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul as the latest Brand Ambassador for the House

Billkin is a prominent figure in the Thai entertainment industry, recognized both as a distinguished actor and an accomplished singer. He rose to fame in 2019, earning the love of the fans not only in Thailand but throughout the region. His award-winning television series brought him significant recognition as his vocal talents boosted the series’ soundtrack to popularity.

Additionally, he released successful singles under his own label, Billkin Entertainment, and his sold-out concert tours in Bangkok, China and Hong Kong have affirmed his status as a leading star of the new generation in Asia. Billkin is also celebrated in the fashion world for his impeccable sense of style, which has established him as an influential icon.

Since 2021, Billkin has attended several of the House’s key events in Thailand, including the Gucci Ancora screening for the Spring/Summer 2024 collection in Bangkok and the grand opening of the new Gucci store in Phuket earlier this year.

“Through my collaboration with Gucci over the past years, I have grown to deeply appreciate its rich, impressive heritage,” says the Thai star. “The brand’s core values lie not only in its bold visionary stance but also in its commitment to brand innovation, while continuing to embrace its signature icons and master craftsmanship. These are unique qualities that are evocative to me.”

With this appointment, Billkin becomes the third Thai ambassador for the House, joining recently appointed actor and singer Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong as well as actress Davika Hoorne, who represents both Gucci and Gucci Beauty.

“My growing partnership with the brand has been a warm and close-knitted [sic] one, like a family. Every time we come together to work on a campaign or project, there is always a sense of togetherness, with people who share the same passion for the brand and the creative ideas born from individual inspirations and life experiences.”
