Skypark, the brainchild of cultural entrepreneur Adrian Cheng has finally been completed. Located on Nelson Street in Kowloon’s Mong Kok, the residential project is a collaboration between property developer New World Development and award-winning Dutch architect firm Concrete, who have previously designed the W Verbier hotel in Switzerland.
The remarkable new oasis features large outdoor areas and an impressive set of “Sky Stairs” that lead to the open roof, which feels far removed from the hustle of the Mong Kok below. SKYPARK was created to give millennials a residential space that they could find a shared community in, while retaining a high degree of privacy at their discretion. The architects combined nature and neighbourhood to create the lush space, and hope that it will redefine modern living.
