How to spend New Year’s Eve with Hong Kong boy band Mirror

Anson Lo, Keung To, Edan Lui and the Mirror gang are set to ring in the new year with a concert in West Kowloon- here’s how to get your tickets

After a three-year hiatus, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) rings in the new year with a countdown celebration that will include a performance by Cantopop sensation Mirror. The boy band will perform alongside the Hong Kong Philharmonic and singers Alfred Hui, Aga and Gin Lee.

Hong Kong residents can enter the draw via HKTB’s website between November 15 and 24; 1,500 Hongkongers and their plus one will be given free entrance to the countdown celebration, which will take place at the West Kowloon waterfront at 10 pm on December 31.

Those lucky enough to secure tickets will have to ensure they’re fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by December 13; using the LeaveHomeSafe app to record the visit will also be mandatory for all attendees. Those who enter the raffle will have to do so using their HKID number and will be required to present identification upon entrance as part of the anti-ticket scalping measure.

For details on how to enter, visit HKTB’s website here.
