London hotel Café Royal has enlisted the services of top Spanish chef Albert Adrià, brother of El Bulli founder Ferran Adrià, to help celebrate its 150th anniversary. He will spend 50 days at the Piccadilly institution in spring, offering special menus and drinks for guests. The Michelin-starred venue has seen plenty of big names through its doors over the years, from Winston Churchill to Mick Jagger and David Bowie. During Adrià’s residency, guests will begin in the Oscar Wilde Bar, named after one of the hotel’s most famous patrons, where they will be served specially made cocktails and appetisers, before adjourning to the opulent Domino Restaurant. Adrià’s residency runs from February 12 to April 9.
