Candice Lee

Candice Lee is director of Asia Art Hong Kong, an annual festival founded in 2013 (as Asia Week Hong Kong). In collaboration with experts and world-class museums, the festival’s education programme presents Asian Art, from antiques to contemporary, visual to performance art.

Following its success, she co-founded “Dutch Days in Hong Kong” in 2015 with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Macau to promote Dutch culture. At the core of AAHK is a mission to make art education and appreciation accessible to all – and to nurture art patronage of the future. With partners in diverse industries, AAHK responds to the needs of today’s education in Hong Kong through advancing Arts and in a STEAM-focused education. The programme is offered for free to the public.

Candice is an active member in the arts, serving on several boards: music foundation HKGNA; the Friends of the Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Hong Kong Arts Centre Bee; Hong Kong Ink Art Walk of Hong Kong Culture Festival. A native of Seoul, she was educated in the Netherlands where she worked in Global Private Banking for over 13 years. She currently resides in Hong Kong and Amsterdam.
